Extensive Renovation Transforms Hilton Garden Inn Terre Haute into a Warm, Inviting Retreat

The Hilton Garden Inn in Terre Haute underwent an extensive renovation of guestrooms and public areas in 2021 and reopened in June of 2022. ACC design worked closely with ownership to transform the once neutral lobby into a warm and inviting space by incorporating saturated paint colors, rich textural fabrics, and organic shaped lighting that appears to float above the guests.

The hotel adjoins the newly constructed convention center and features an illuminated privacy screen that separates the dining area from the connecting corridor and adds drama to both the interior and exterior at night. This property also offers four corner suites that were completely reconfigured to serve as luxury bridal suites.

In addition to the private bedroom, each suite provides the guest with a wet bar, dining banquette, expansive sectional seating, and walk-in closet. The existing fitness center was converted into a boardroom and an expanded fitness center was created in an under-utilized meeting room space on the 2nd floor. Custom finishes with subtle references to nature throughout the hotel reinforce the Hilton Garden Inn vibe.
